Heartsdales

Welcome to this post! This post is about the Japanese Urban sisters, Heartsdales. They were produced by VERBAL of m-flo fame and debuted in 2001 with So Tell Me (which remains to be their most popular single throughout their lifespan). It was clear in their style that they were heavily inspired by 80s and 90s American hip-hop influence.

They chose the name Heartsdales as a tribute of the to Hartsdale, New York where Rum was born and ultimately they were raised where they became fluent in English as well as Japanese.

In 2004, they first self-produced the new single I See You which was even more evident from their change of sound - from the rap and hip-hop influence to their current pop sounding songs.

However, in the summer of 2006, the sisters announced they were going their separate ways, musically, in order to focus on their own musical projects. Their last concert was held on September 2, 2006.

Please comment if you have some information, as well as a source, you would like to me to put here. e.via
(이비아)

Hello! This post is going to be about the fastest woman rapper in Korea, e.via (hangul: 이비아). She's also a lyricist, composer and pianst who is represented by Dline Art Media (디라인 아트 미디어). However, when she first started, she used to go by Napper and would actually combine both her e.via personas and Napper persona in her song called "My 약" ("My Medicine").

However, when she released the first song from her debut album, "Oppa! na Haedodwae?", it sparked controversy and was banned from being performed on Music Bank because of the lyrics were suggestive. She was later banned from performing any of her songs from her album because of how suggestive it was. Despite it all, the song and album recieved overwhelming responses from the online communities.

As of now, e.via seems to be off the radar.
